Resident leaders led a rally to call for full funding for Section 8 and
Public Housing in the Department of Housing and
Urban Development on October 9 in Pittsburgh. The rally, at the
Federal Building downtown, was organized by the Housing Alliance of PA and the
Southwestern PA Alliance of HUD Tenants. Over 50 citizens took part.
