pog plans for March 2nd anti-war march and other events.

list of new pog events including a rally and march on March 2nd.

Following the meeting this weekend POG has decided on a organizing path for the next couple months. The major event will be a permitted rally on March 2nd at 2pm in Oakland to be followed by a un-permitted march. If your group is interested in endorsing the permitted rally please email pog at pog@mutualaid.org

Feb 28th 7:00pm POG Benefit Concert for the Anti-war effort. 4$ Bands and Venue TBD
Sat March 1st (tentative) Trainings: Anti-Oppression, Direct Action, and Blockades.
Sunday March 2nd: Protest against the War!
2:00PM Permitted Rally
3:00PM March against the war.

March 22nd Teach-in on the IMF-WB and the ties to war. More info TBA

POG has also decided to organize transportation and a contigent to travel to the spring meetings of the World Bank and IMF April 11-13th. Cost is 30$. This is similar to the organizing they did for the people's strike this past September where ~80 Pittsburghers joined POG for the weekend.
