text Violent Revolution . 2009-08-07 9:44 AM
We must abstain from our greedy ways and drop out of society by retreating temporarily into the wild and other hide out spots when things get too hot to handle while the shit's hittin the fan. We must learn how to become self-sustaining. We must read survival textbooks. Civilization is not so civilized once you stumble upon the news that is not being televised. Civilization is not so civilized once you look at what civilization has collectively been doing directly and indirectly to the planet and poor people living in the third world; people that we never see who slave harder than we do just so Americans can enjoy cheaper products when they go shopping. Our masters are demented in the fuckin head. (text/html)

text Woodstock 2009: A Slow Learning Curve? Dug Dallas 2009-08-06 1:01 AM
One generalization, that unfortunately holds true for “many” musicians and rock bands is, despite the fact they often have potentially huge audiences (the marketer’s dream), is that they often have little, if anything, intelligent and insightful to say about social and political issues. But more specifically, they will not likely assert the likelihood—that U.S. sponsored torture of Islamic prisoners has probably rendered “zero” results of quality or worthwhile intelligence (save perhaps what “Israeli” objectives might have wanted). text FEMA TRAINGING PITTSBURGH POLICE FUCK FEMA An Anarchist from the West Coast looking out! 2009-07-31 12:01 PM
Instructors from the Center for Domestic Preparedness, a division of the Federal Emergency Management Agency are in the act of training Pittsburgh Police on how to deal with civil unrest at the G20 SUMMIT this fall. If you think that's the worst, wait till you hear about the camps in store for all Americans. I actually did some research on FEMA and found some startling information that ever since the Reagan Administration FEMA has been building large under ground bases and above concentration camps for civil preparedness and now they are training our police how to do riot control. I guess Glen Beck was right all along just trying to warn all of us. Most of what that guy say’s I don’t agree with though but he’s right about the camps. I feel like I’m living in the Twilight Zone right now. Even the most absurd is possible. The older I get, the more creepy everything else seems to get. Supposedly under Reagan the government was in fear of national rebellion due to the leaking of the Iran Contra Scandal and so they started prepping the military adding new executive orders and building camps all over the country. It was said that in the event of an natural disaster or any emergency that could mean "national rebellion", FEMA would take over and executive presidential orders at the time would allow for the suspension of all constitutional rights. FEMA now under Homeland Security is preparing to crush the coming G20 Rebellion but they won’t succeed will they?. Not if we can stop them. Fuck this shit. We live in a democracy when we rule not when they take over. text Democra-Phobia: Fear of Citizen Power in Honduras Al Giordano, General Joe, and jamie 2009-07-20 8:02 PM
"“If, as now appears not impossible, the Honduran Coup can be defeated by the large majority of ordinary people largely independently of the actions of the governments, that would be a greater victory for popular struggles than any other sequence of events.” That is the authentic story from Honduras: the story written by its own people, from below. And that’s why the “talks” in Costa Rica were a circus sideshow. From here on out, it’s all about “Citizen Power,” the immediate history of the steps the people of Honduras take to organize their own freedom and a more authentic democracy. That’s been our focus here for the past month. And it will continue to be the central thrust of our reporting. Update: Here's an important development in international solidarity with the popular movements of Honduras: The International Transport Workers Federation has called upon its four-and-a-half million members in 656 labor unions worldwide (it includes Longshoremen, Teamsters and Seafarers among other union sectors in the US and throughout the world) to refuse to load or unload products from the 650 merchant ships that are registered under the Honduran flag for as long as the coup regime is in place." text Honduras Newspaper Impressed that Daughter of Pinochet Backs Coup Al, General Joe, and jamie 2009-07-10 9:26 PM
"No, it's not parody. Rather, it's instructive of the state of mind of the coup defenders. (You can see it in repeated online comments on Twitter and elsewhere attacking Organization of American States chairman Jose Miguel Insulza because he was part of the elected Allende government before Allende was assassinated by Pinochet's forces.) They see the Pinochet coup of 36 years ago as a heroic act, and long for the bad old days when they could simply stamp out democratic will by rounding all dissenters into a stadium and assassinating more than 3,000 in a single week, which is what happened after September 11, 1973 in Santiago de Chile. It is another proof positive that they are trying to start that ball rolling all over again throughout the hemisphere. And it demonstrates exactly why not a single government in América or in the entire world recognizes their illegitimate regime." (text/plain)
