text Adopt an Intersection Campaign - Coordinated, Decentralized Direct Action in DC Adopt an Intersection Campaign 2005-08-24 2:05 PM
From September 23-26, thousands of people will descend upon DC to resist the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the capitalist war in Iraq. The Adopt an Intersection Campaign (AIC) is a coordinated, decentralized direct action campaign with the goal of interfering with the delegates’ ability to get to the World Bank by shutting down all or part of downtown DC on the morning of Sunday, September 25. This can be done by creating space for a diversity of tactics, not favoring nor condemning any tactic. Adopt an Intersection is solidarity in the streets, blockading for a brighter future. text Right Wingers on Pittsburgh: "Live ammo next time" Bread Is Rising 2005-08-22 1:40 AM
Below is a link to Freak Republic. It is how they are responding to the events in Pittsburgh. If you feel you need to chime in on this site, you should. In fact all of us should sign on and give them an earful. They will immediately ban you and take your comments off the site, but maybe their moderators should do a little work. If they are going to start calling for live ammo to be used against anti-war activists (Post #3, and that came from a guy who ever since Sept. 11 has been calling for violence against progressive people), then we can sleep on them - and they shouldn't sleep at all.
