The U.S. Department of Housing Urban Development (HUD) recently awarded Hooks Van Holm, Inc. service contracts in excess of $25 million to provide management and marketing services in four states: Mississippi, Alabama Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Hooks Van Holm’s assignment calls for the company to manage and market Single Family properties owned by or in the custody of HUD. The contracts also require Hooks Van Holm to oversee the sales and closing activities, which consist of proper accounting of sale proceeds to HUD, and review of lender claims for insurance benefits to ensure HUD's interests are protected.
