For Immediate Release New Castle to Host February 22nd March

Have you ever wondered what goes on in a little town in western PA called New Castle? Well, usually nothing, but on February 22nd from 2-4 p.m. a permitted anti war march and rally will “Storm the Castle.”

The Westminster College Green Party is currently organizing this day of action as a follow up to a weekend of a large-scale international protesting on February 15th. Organizers of the group are currently looking for people to speak, and groups to formally endorse the march and rally.

We are currently receiving support from a number of college organizations, area churches and other socially conscious groups including the Thomas Merton Center, who co-organized the march on Pittsburgh the weekend of January 24-26.
