New student strike schedule

An updated schedule for the student strike activities at Pitt the day after the bombing is escalated in Iraq.

10 am: Women and War Resistance. Lawrence Hall Lobby. Presented by the CMU Women’s Center.

11 am: War and the Corporate Media. Lawrence Hall Lobby. Presented by Pittsburgh Indymedia.

12 noon: Food Not Bombs workshop. Posvar Hall Lobby, near room 1P56. Presented by Pittsburgh Food Not Bombs.

2pm: History of US intervention in Iraq. Posvar Hall Lobby, near room 1P56. Presented by Professors for Peace and Justice.

2pm: Women and War Resistance. Lawrence Hall Lobby.

3 pm: Creative Resistance. Posvar Hall Lobby.

3pm: War and the Corporate Media. Lawrence Hall Lobby.

4pm: Direct Action Training. Posvar Hall Lobby, near the escalators.

6pm: Food Not Bombs Workshop. Posvar Hall Lobby, near 1P56.

7pm: Teach-in by Medical Students for Peace. Lawrence Hall Lobby.

Time and place TBA: "Rhetoric vs. Reality," presented by the anti-war committee of Students in Solidarity.

All workshops are at the University of Pittsburgh. Posvar and Lawrence Halls are connected- Lawrence is on Forbes Avenue next to Hillman Library, Posvar is directly behind Lawrence. See a map here.
