Go to church this Sunday.

A call to action, unless that action is malicious disruption of services.

The Friends of Carlo Tresca call for Sunday feeder marches which take the holiest routes. The intent is to reach out to church-goers, as many of the church bosses, from the lay minister to Rome have condemned the war of Bush. It was a wise being who first called the enemy of his enemy his friend. Given the predicted forecast and the social function of organized religion, there will be plenty of milling about on church steps, which presents a perfect opportunity for last minute handbills, pep-rallies, and exposure to affinity groups that perhaps have been ignored. Present a logical argument as to why they will be better off on Flagstaff than at the Olive Garden, and maybe they will march beside you. The Friends of Carlos Tresca will be on their best best behavior, overlooking the atrocities committed in his name, comfortable in recognizing the Nazrene as one of our brethren, certain in the knowledge that had we existed in his time, like him, we would have been crucified for our opposition to the state, and well may be yet.
Our work will begin from a secure, undisclosed location in the East End, and its route has not been finalized, nor will it be disclosed to the public. We intend to save our disobedience for later, unless of course the bosses change the rules of engagement.
We extend an invitation to all interested parties to accompany us on "missionary" work, we can be reached via electronic mail, and above all, we encourage, no, we dare others to do the same in their communities. We will be preparing thematic outreach materials which will be released for general distibution, but you can probably do better yourself.
