M16: Angry Motorist Tries to Kill Baby

I suppose for some hawks, Iraq is too far away to get their child-killin' fix.

As a member of NAAA, I spent the bulk of the march at the rear, waiting for the police to gather in enough force that the "POLICE FOR PEACE" banner would make sense. I'm not even sure, but early in the march, as we were crossing the street right off the CMU campus, myself and some other demonstrators took it upon ourselves to block traffic so that the stragglers wouldn't be cut off from the rest of the march. I was standing alone in the north-bound lane, and one driver decided that my life wasn't as important as whatever he was trying to get to (I'm guessing Sunday shopping), and skillfully planted the dead center of his bumper in my groin, and to my suprise continued giving it gas after that. One woman overestimating my ability to intimidate people, or perhaps the ability of my testicles to hold back a two-ton automobile, was walking behind me at the time with a stroller, and this guy's right front tire just barely missed her child. I thought this was especially strange considering the infant in the child seat staring directly at me from the back seat of this car. I actually sort of regret stepping backwards as he drove his car into me, but I suppose the only other option would have been to fall down, and I think then he would have been perfectly willing to drive over me. One woman has a picture of his license plate, but I don't think I want to go running to the cops. It would be a tad hypocritical of me, but if the woman who's baby almost got hit wants to bring him up on attempted-something-or-other or reckless this-or-that, you can come forward and I'd be happy to get you together with the woman with the picture.

For all those who might have been concerned, breathe a sigh of relief: my genitalia escaped the incident unharmed.
