STUDENT STRIKE TOMORROW!

Student strike at the U. of Pittsburgh will be held Thursday, March 20, in concurrence with other day-of-bombing activities.

Student strike is on for TOMORROW, March 20!!!

The schedule:

10 am: Women and War Resistance. Lawrence Hall Lobby. Presented by the CMU Women’s Center.

11 am: War and the Corporate Media. Lawrence Hall Lobby. Presented by Pittsburgh Indymedia.


11 am: "Rhetoric vs. Reality." Posvar Hall Lobby. Presented by the anti-war committee of Students in Solidarity.

12 noon: Food Not Bombs workshop, gathering and brown-bag-lunch picnic. Autonomous actions-- see call to action.


2pm: History of US intervention in Iraq. Posvar Hall Lobby, near room 1P56. Presented by Professors for Peace and Justice.

2pm: Women and War Resistance. Lawrence Hall Lobby.

3 pm: Creative Resistance. Posvar Hall Lobby.

3pm: War and the Corporate Media. Lawrence Hall Lobby.

4pm: Direct Action Training. Posvar Hall Lobby, near the escalators.

6pm: Food Not Bombs Workshop. Posvar Hall Lobby, near 1P56.

7pm: Teach-in by Medical Students for Peace. Lawrence Hall Lobby.

All this is on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Come show the world that you do not consent, and learn why this war is unwarranted and ridiculous!

All participants are encouraged to also take part in actions downtown at 5pm.
