Arrests have been reported from this evening's critical mass bike ride.

According to reports given to the IMC over the phone and in person, at least one arrest was made at tonight's critical mass bike ride. The arrest took place at the corner of Baum & Craig in Oakland. The ride was followed from Fifth and Craft by police. At Fifth and Bigelow, police threatened to cite those who didn't get into the right lane. At Craig and Baum, two police cars blocked the intersection, and police surrounded the ride. They threatened to arrest anyone who didn't show ID. Most of the ride turned around and dispersed, and at least one person was arrested.
