In taking POG's lead, here is a flyer to alert folks about the Aug. 24 Picnic against Poverty and anti-war, anti-imperialist rally and MARCH starting @ 1:00PM @ Flagstaff Hill in Schenley Park
Bust out your wheatpaste - create other flyers. The time has come to once again take a stand and rise up against our current imperialistic leaders and their actions. Once again: form a small contingent and come up with a creative form of resistance. In Kent State they built a drum machine on wheels with a ton of pots and pans attached for people to bang on. For a recent demo in Philly, activists constructed a giant paper shredder in which they shredded the Patriot Act. Code Pink - "pink slip" is great. Jugglers, fire-eaters, STREET THEATRE, dddrrruuuuummmmmssss. banners. Spread the word - new, creative resistance. Aug 24 - UNITY.
