Street theatre group greeted protesters at the DL convention center this Saturday who were opposing Bush's visit to Pittsburgh.

The Billionaires for Bush showed up at the David Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh on Saturday to "counter" those opposing Bush (who was speaking that evening).
Billionaires for Bush is a do-it-yourself street theater and media campaign that uses humor to flush out the truth about the Bush administration’s disastrous economic policies. This was the first stop on their "Get on the Limo" tour, the Billionaires newest and most hands-on campaign, that is sweeping through battleground swing states putting a local spotlight on the concerns of the very rich. On the far right, you can see the new fence that the pPittsburgh police have put up to keep out the voices of dissent.

A crowd shot. There were only about 100 people protesting Bush on Saturday. Those that were there were overwhelming supporting Kerry. Members of a small minority had to keep refusing Kerry signs offered to them explaining that they are against Bush but not necessarily FOR Kerry as he supports the war, sending more troops over, he supports the Patriot Act, the apartheid wall, corporate globalization, the death penalty, the Cuba embargo, Plan Colombia, said he *would* appoint anti-choice judges and is not in favor of voting for same-sex marriage or for universal healthcare.
